I’m an Actionist - I make films where all stages of production are directed toward creating the best action experience possible. From the script to the choreography, camerawork, editing and ultimately distribution, the Actionist model of vertical integration ensures a continuity of vision that you don’t find in today’s mainstream action films.
Many people ask me what it takes to make action films, start their own stunt crew, be a stuntman, or all of the above. The answer: hard work. If it were any easier than that, there would be one billion Jackie Chans.
In my personal life, my favorite food is steak, I work at The Seasteading Institute, I’m an avid collector of Laserdiscs, and Sega CD was the best thing to ever happen to video gaming.
